MEET THE ENTROPY BOAT RENTALS FAMILY
Entropy Boat Rentals has been serving the beautiful Cape Fear coast since 1987. We're the longest established boat rental company in Wilmington, NC and have been family owned and operated from the start.
Sea Mark Boat Manufacturing has been building boats since the 1970's. When Pete Klingenberger, Chris' dad, moved the business to Towels Rd on the ICW he was able to keep a few boats in the water for demos and that gave him an idea. Why not rent the demos since we have them on the water anyways? And that's how it all began. Years later, Chris & Terri bought the small marina where Entropy Boat Rentals is located now. Pete retired but still visits frequently to relax by the water under the tiki hut or to lend us a helping hand.
CHRIS KLINGENBERGER
When you arrive for your boat rental and step on board, you can rest assured you're on a clean, safe, well-maintained boat because of Chris. He knows the boats inside and out because he's the one who built it. A true southern gentleman, he's that uncle/brother/friend you wish you had your entire life. Chris is also an avid fisherman, hunter, and beekeeper and is a member of the NC Beekeepers Association.
TERRI KLINGENBERGER
When you call, text, or email Entropy Boat Rentals, Terri is the one to answer. 7 days a week she is what keeps the business running and growing. Always with a warm smile, once you've met Terri for the first time she'll feel like a family friend you've known your whole life. When not juggling everything to keep the business running, Terri is also a talented artist. When she's not busy running the boat rentals, you can find her in her studio creating "art inspired by the sea." Hand painted silk scarfs, sea-glass art, & even custom made charcuterie boards.
CLETUS The Greeter
Everyone claims their dog is the best dog in the world. We respect that, but we're pretty sure Cletus IS the best dog in the Cape Fear, if not the whole world. He brings a great attitude to work everyday and greets every customer with the same "pet me or get the hell outta here" attitude that keeps our customers smiling and coming back time and time again!
